I have been a restaurateur and business<br />
owner for a short time, but during <strong>the</strong>se<br />
3 years I have accomplished an important<br />
goal – bringing San Francisco-style taqueria<br />
to <strong>Folsom</strong>. My success has been recognized<br />
<strong>by</strong> being awarded “Emerging Business of <strong>the</strong><br />
Year” <strong>by</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Folsom</strong> Chamber of Commerce,<br />
“Biz of <strong>the</strong> Year” <strong>by</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Folsom</strong> Telegraph<br />
and “Woman of <strong>the</strong> Year for District 6” <strong>by</strong><br />
Assemblyman Kevin Kiley.<br />
What’s your passion?<br />
I enjoy volunteering as much as I enjoy<br />
feeding hungry people! I’m on <strong>the</strong> board for<br />
<strong>Folsom</strong> Chamber of Commerce, FEDCorp<br />
and Twin Lakes Food Bank. In addition, I’m a<br />
Rotarian and a commissioner for <strong>the</strong> Historic<br />
District Commission.<br />
ANNE DESCALZO<br />
AVP COMMUNITY BANKING, SAFE CREDIT<br />
UNION<br />
I am <strong>the</strong> assistant vice president of<br />
Community Banking to my team at SAFE<br />
Credit Union. In my current role, I provide<br />
strategic oversight of SAFE’s extensive<br />
community involvement, <strong>the</strong> SAFE@Work<br />
program - which combats financial distraction<br />
and provides wellness benefits to employees<br />
around <strong>the</strong> region, and financial education<br />
programs for adults and youths. I am <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>2019</strong> Chair of Metro EDGE, <strong>the</strong> region’s<br />
largest young professional organization.<br />
What’s your passion?<br />
Supporting my colleagues and <strong>the</strong> community<br />
on <strong>the</strong>ir journey to financial health through<br />
