Unfortunately, due to a problem at the French end we have had to postpone our Boules match, which had been scheduled for the Saturday 22 June. However, we will be going across to Armbouts-Cappel on Sunday 30 June with a coach to attend their Ducasse (village fete) where we will be hosted to a meal and entertainment. We have had a couple of cancellations so if you are interested in joining us for just £10 per person please give Roy a ring on 01843 319 791 for details. Some of our French friends will be coming over for Open Gardens on Saturday 15 June and we will be holding a photographic exhibition at Old Schools over the weekend, so please do come and have a look whilst you are walking around the village for the gardens. We are planning further events for later in the year and we will give you details in this magazine, so please do keep reading our column. Looking for help from a Retired Choir Master / Vocal Coach Our recently formed Amateur Community Choir ‘Village Voices’ is looking for help to improve our harmonies etc. We are not necessarily looking for someone to commit to every practice session, but we would appreciate some professional/semi- professional help to generally improve our singing. If you feel you might fit the bill and are willing to come along and help, we would very much appreciate it.
