MINSTER BOWLS CLUB<br />
A month of joy and sadness, two months on the trot.<br />
The sadness in hearing about the death of our Club Secretary Brian Morphew. Brian came<br />
late in life to bowls once his cricketing days<br />
were over.<br />
The joy was at the presentation evening, after an<br />
excellent meal of lamb hocks (for the lucky ones), the awards for<br />
the winners and runners-ups were presented by the Club President.<br />
I have posted letters to those who took part in our OPEN DAY.<br />
This year it is on Sunday 23rd June. We have one new team<br />
entered so far this year, so if any 4 of you would like to make a<br />
team please contact me. This event is for people who are not<br />
members of any bowls club and do not bowl. Dress informal.<br />
