The article on Page 5 of the April 10 edition of The Weekly Times told the chilling story of a British backpacker’s haunted encounter at the historic hospital where hundreds of colonial era psychiatric patients are buried in unmarked graves. The Magic proved that they are a force to be reckoned with and moved into second spot on the competition table, just a single point behind the leaders. A large vocal crowd gathered to witness the Gladesville Ryde Magic debut of sharp shooter Sialmas and weren’t disappointed with the Greek star coming out with all guns blazing and bagging three goals in a polished performance. Sialmas took control of the game and demonstrated the skills, strike power and vision which made him one of the most dangerous forwards in the Greek competition. Other goal scorers for Magic were Chris Gaitatzis, Christos Tomaras and Aaron Khan. With the competition just over the half way mark, Magic have placed themselves in a position to make a serious tilt at winning this year’s first grade competition as well as the Club Championship.
