TRULY DELIGHTFUL IN
TOTNES AND CHAMPAGNE
& CHARLOTTE IN BIDEFORD
Faced with the wealth of choice available, finding the perfect bridal
gown can seem daunting, but it really doesn’t need to be. It’s simply
about choosing a gown that accentuates your best features and
makes you feel truly amazing.
For ‘triangle’ shapes (broader shoulders with narrower hips), A-line gowns
will streamline your figure, and a plunging V-neckline will flatter broad
shoulders.
A ball gown silhouette has layered fabrics below the waistline which will
flatter pear shapes (hips wider than shoulders) by shaping the top half
of the body and drawing attention to the waistline. And an ultra
feminine plunging sweetheart neckline will also complement a
smaller bust.
If you’re rocking an hourglass figure, then a full-length, mermaid
showstopper could be your perfect match. Figure-hugging
shapes, illusion bodice and illusion side panels are a little more
daring. Match them with a flattering and flirtatious back for an
all-round stunner of a mermaid gown.
Statement Trains
Long cathedral trains suit most figures, so all you need
to consider is your wedding location. If you’re tying the
knot in your back garden, then a cathedral train might
look a bit over the top and be impractical in a small
space.
However, if you’re planning on a luxurious
location with a long aisle to walk down, then a
statement train is a must – and it looks
incredible in photos, especially cascading
down a grand staircase.
