Programs to produce homes
The Franklin County Dog Shelter and
and foster opportunities during the month
of July.
On July 13, the shelter will host an
adoption event featuring long-term residents
at Homedog Resort and Daycare in
Columbus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These
long-term residents will be joined by volunteers
who know the dogs’ behavior and
potential adopters will be able to speak
with them and learn why the dogs are special
and what the right home would look
like for them. All dog adoptions will be $18
and every dog will be up-to-date on shots,
spayed or neutered, microchipped, and
receive a dog license.
The shelter has also announced dates
for the Shelter Running Club Open House.
This is an opportunity for interested individuals
show up at the shelter and be prepared to
run with a dog.
of the public will be able to foster dogs
from the shelter, welcoming them into
