overwhelming. You could really 

do it in one day (with a lot of 

coffee!) but why would you 

not stay overnight in Vegas?! 

Seriously though, it’s really 

well organized and has a great 

selection of showrooms.

I’m inspired by are anything that’s

States—good design is local and the 

West Coast has plenty of makers. I’m 

into any design that’s laid back and 

casual—the fancy pants design stuff can 

go back to the East Coast. Other West 

Coast trends I dig are anything cowboy or 

Western related... giddy up. 

Why do you like to attend Las Vegas 

Market? 

I like to attend market because it’s like 

Coachella for interior designers. I get to 

hang out with colleagues I don’t normally 

get to see, and I like chit chatting with the 

vendors I normally just email with.

Yes, lots of layering of neutrals and 

textures, with incorporation of vintage 

textiles and Turkish rugs. I’m also 

seeing and using a lot of nubby textured 

slipcovers while throwing in a good 

mid‐century modern piece...basically my 

personal style, LOL.

TONES, IMPERFECT POTTERY AND 

FOUND OBJECTS. I ALSO LOVE 

INCORPORATING VINTAGE PIECES

How would you describe your signature 

style? 

For my business, I would say that we 

don’t have a signature style that we force 

on clients. We like to keep our portfolio 

showing a wide array of our capabilities 

and styles. My staff designers and I all 

have different personal styles and our 

job as a designer to our clients is to get 

into their head and not force our personal 

style on them. But I can say that my 

personal style is more of a California cool 

and comfortable aesthetic with layers of 

texture and small doses of pattern.
