perform popular American folk music and spiritual songs on his Celtic harp accompanied by<br />
guitarist Val Gray. Some of the featured songs include Blowin’ in the Wind, Edelweiss, I’ll<br />
Fly Away, Ash Grove, Rose of Allendale, Shenandoah, and Where Have All the Flowers<br />

Equity actress and professor, Dr. Diane Cypkin will sing the hits of these<br />
two iconic artists and share their personal stories to bring their music and their era to life.<br />
Songs to be performed include Tennessee Waltz, Doggie in the Window, and Old Cape Cod (sung by Patti<br />
Page) as well as Que Sera Sera, Secret Love and It’s Magic (sung by Doris Day). Pianist Lena Panfilova will<br />
accompany Dr. Cypkin.<br />

History of the American Women’s Rights Movements<br />

Retired History professor Eugene Lieber will present a slide-lecture which will focus<br />
on suffragette efforts from colonial evangelical roles to Seneca Falls, NY in the mid-19 th<br />
century to the early 20 th century.<br />
Feminist activism in the 1960s and 1970s to the current “me too” movement will also<br />
be explored during this overview of the historical peaks of organizing women.<br />

Billy Joel: Stories and Songs<br />

Popular pianist/vocalist Lee Glantz will perform some of Billy Joel’s iconic hits from the<br />
70s, 80s and 90s. Featured hits include Piano Man, Uptown Girl, Just the Way You Are,<br />
New York State of Mind and Movin’ Out. Glantz will also share anecdotal stories about Billy<br />
Joel’s life and music career.<br />

Italian Opera Favorites<br />
