We Need You!<br />
Do you have special interests, hobbies or skills? Are you<br />
looking to become involved in the Friends, but perhaps do<br />
not want to make a major commitment of time? Do you like<br />
to participate in projects or prefer a small task? We can find<br />
the right opportunity for you. As volunteers, we know that<br />
any amount of time or effort will be greatly appreciated.<br />
We have a wide variety of ways for you to use your talents<br />
and time.<br />
Artistic ? We need individuals to create flyers and other<br />
print materials highlighting special events.<br />
Technology savvy ? We need to update and maintain our<br />
Friends’ website and have a Facebook presence.<br />
Always on the go ? We need people to deliver nonperishable<br />
food items to the Caldwell Food Pantry. We also<br />
need people to deliver and pick up books at Crane’s Mill.<br />
Organized and detail oriented ? We need people to<br />
“Adopt a Shelf” and keep the books and other print materials<br />
in their dedicated place. We also need individuals to<br />
consolidate Friends’ news releases and prior records.<br />
Hospitable ? Consider helping host and plan refreshments<br />
for meetings and special events.<br />
Supportive ? Assist the Children’s Librarians for special<br />
programs and their Summer Kick-Off.<br />
Creative ? Help us develop and implement fundraising<br />
events.<br />
Friendly ? Join the membership team in their efforts to<br />
recruit new members and volunteers.<br />
Community oriented ? Coordinate and distribute Friends’<br />
Baskets to local businesses and doctors’ offices.<br />
We would love to have you join us as a volunteer!<br />

The Friends of the West Caldwell Public<br />
Library is re-establishing its Membership<br />
Card Program. The membership card<br />
acknowledges the receipt of your donation for<br />
the current year. The card will now make you<br />
eligible to receive discounts at specified<br />
businesses for the <strong>2019</strong> membership year.<br />
A complete listing of retailers and<br />
restaurants will be available in the Library<br />
and on the Friends’ section of the Library<br />
website in the near future. Members will<br />
receive their cards with a merchant list in the<br />
mail in the coming months.<br />
