THANK YOU FOR VOTING US
BEST SENIOR LIVING FOR
THREE YEARS IN A ROW!!!
Odin Borgeson, Lincoln-Way
Central rising sophomore
What is one essential you must have
when studying?
I have to have music going while I study
because it helps me push all other distractions
out of my mind. Sometimes I forget
that I made food because I have my earbuds
in and my parents have to remind me.
What do you like to do when not in
school or studying?
When I’m not in school, I like to either
play volleyball or guitar. I’m a right side
for the LWC Freshman A team, but coach
Cimaroli will sometimes throw me in as a
setter. I also play both electric and acoustic
guitar as often as I can, even though
volleyball takes up most of my time.
What is your dream job?
I honestly want to do something involving
the environment and plants. There are
so many things happening to the environment
that need to be changed and I want
to do my part to help out.
What are some of your most played
songs on your iPod?
My playlist has a lot of variety because
I don’t like to listen to the same stuff all
of the time. Usually it is something I can
learn to play myself because I like playing
music that appeals to me.
Whom do you look up to and why?
I look up to Brendon Urie of Panic! At
the Disco because he got a chance to follow
his dream. He is also an activist to
make sure everyone is accepted and even
his music is very forward thinking.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Bultman is my favorite teacher because
he is hilarious and always understands
what is going on. He is also a really
good teacher.
What’s your favorite class and why?
My favorite class is Biology because
I understand what is going on and genuinely
enjoy learning about evolution, genetics,
and everything else that applies to
Biology.
What’s one thing that stands out about
your school?
The fact that the teachers genuinely care
about the students and want to help them.
Everyone is always so supportive of everyone
else. There is also so much value on
the arts, like studying music and art.
What extracurricular(s) do you wish your
school had?
I wish there was an Archery Club because
that would be pretty cool. The
problem is that Archery is not a big thing
anywhere and it is really dangerous if you
don’t know what you are doing, but it
could be fun.
What’s your favorite thing to eat in the
cafeteria?
The grilled cheese is one of the best
things to get from the cafeteria. However,
the ice cream is a close second. The
grilled cheese is only around once a week,
but I make sure to pick one up every time
they have it.
Standout Student is a weekly feature for The
