“All our guides were excellent, but a special mention must be made of
our guide for Machu Picchu. We forgot to bring our rainwear, so when
it started to rain the guide sheltered us in a dry area and returned to
our hotel to collect it for us. Also, the guide who escorted us to Paracas
deserves special mention as he organised, at short notice, a boat trip to
the Ballestas Islands, which turned out to be quite a highlight. He also
arranged for us to sit at the front in the plane trip over the Nazca Lines,
to my husband’s delight”
