YOUR CEREMONY...
IN SAFE HANDS
TOP TIP
think about who will be
listening to your own personal
vows – do you want all your
family to know what your
nicknames are for each other
or what annoying habits your
other half might have?
So, what do you want to do with your ceremony? – remember its all
yours, in all its glorious loveliness! The safe hands are ours, to help
you bring your ceremony to life and enjoy every single minute
and detail.
We get to call this work, and we get to work with some amazing people.
You should feel happy and safe putting your trust in the people who have
been at the heart of weddings for so so long. Your ceremony uniquely
created just for you. All you might like to do, is personalise it as much or as
little as you like. It’s whatever you want it to be. This is where you get to
show the world just how much you love each other, and how you tell the
world is completely up to you.
It is Your Ceremony and Your Choice, yours to do with as you wish!
Your imagination (and a legal bit or two!) is your only limitation to what
you want to include in your ceremony. There are just so many fabulous
ways to personalise your ceremony, where do we start….
Write your own vows. Your own special words for a special time. A truly
intimate way to show the world just what you two mean to each other,
and if you need any help, just let us know.
Sand and Water Ceremonies are just a couple of the
beautiful ways of showing two lives coming together
as one. Two separate vessels of different coloured
sand or water are poured into a third to represent two
lives that cannot be separated, and can be a wonderful way
to include children from different families – how about doing it
with glitter for really small children?
Or what about adding a Love Letters and Wine Ceremony? This can be
quite a fun one to add. You write a love letter to your other half, and
both are then sealed tight shut in a box that also contains a bottle of
wine and a couple of glasses – heaven! The idea is that if you argue,
you take the time to open the wine together and read the letters
you both wrote to each other, as reminders about why you
love each other so very very much!
You may also like to think about a Unity candle, a beautiful
way of showing two lives, families and sets of friends coming
together as one, and a very special way to remember those who
can’t be with you. You will both light an individual candle, using
the flame from these to light a third candle together.
