Exotic Zoo will be showcasing loads
of fantastic animals throughout the
weekend, including an armadillo,
adorable meerkats and a petting
zoo! Critters 2 You will be bringing
everything from snakes to lizards - will
you have a go at holding a tarantula?
Local rescue centre Corio Raptors will
also be here with some amazing birds
of prey, including a majestic barn owl
and a beautiful buzzard.
During the weekend we’ve also got a whole range of
additional activities for the family to enjoy. Our onsite
cattle will be on show from the Gladstone Hide
- go along to the talk and feed to see the beautiful
herd of cows, including 14 calves, to find out more
about how the cows help us to manage our reserve.
We’ll also be running bird watching for beginners
sessions to inspire the younger generation - head to
the Discovery Hide and pick up your bird watching
for beginners guide and see what you can spot on
the mere!
There’ll also be all our usual daily talks and feeds,
pond dipping in our new Pond Zone, our Canoe
Safari and Boat Tours and our adventure playground
with wet play! Come and have a wild day out in our
