the Avenue celebrated<br />
5 years of operating in<br />
April this year!<br />
We are so proud of our dedicated team of<br />
46 who care for <strong>and</strong> educate the babies<br />
<strong>and</strong> children from 7.30 until 5.30 Monday<br />
through till Friday.<br />
They research, plan, implement <strong>and</strong><br />
evaluate a developmentally <strong>and</strong> age<br />
appropriate program for all babies <strong>and</strong><br />
children; together with meeting their needs<br />
for sleep/rest/toileting/play <strong>and</strong> nurturing.<br />
Educational <strong>and</strong> special diets are catered<br />
for with a cooked lunch, morning <strong>and</strong><br />
afternoon teas <strong>and</strong> late snack daily.<br />
La Crèche boasts continuity of care <strong>and</strong><br />
education, 2 large well equipped out door<br />
areas, small groups for the under 3 year olds<br />
<strong>and</strong> groups of 22 for the over 3 year olds.<br />
The over 3 year old groups include a junior<br />
preschool <strong>and</strong> preschool class.<br />
Our extra-curricular includes languages,<br />
cultural experiences, junior first aid, road<br />
safety <strong>and</strong> local excursions.<br />
Children develop life skills in a calm, friendly,<br />
interesting environment conducive to<br />
learning, curiosity <strong>and</strong> engagement.<br />
