Players could imagine that they are on a boat and draw a picture of what they see as they move to show how the temperature influences the environment. SPKG1-A1 KS1 • Each player needs a circular piece of paper, with a line drawn across the centre to represent the Equator, and a counter. • Players take turn to spin and must follow the instruction they land on; either moving north, south, away from the Equator (getting colder) or closer to the Equator (getting hotter). • After each move the players must say what is happening to the temperature and why. For example, ‘I am moving away from the Equator and it is getting colder.’ • The game continues for a set time or number of moves. N.C. Objective.
