BAAN TAWAI<br />
Baan Tawai is 300 years old village. In Chamadevi monarch, she was travelling with wagons<br />
from Lamphun and need to pass village, in order to travel to build the Lavo Temple. As queen<br />
chamadevi traveeled through the village, the villagers met up and to bring fruit and other<br />
valuable presents to show respect and sacrifice for her, therefore making this village known<br />
as "Baan Tawaii" or "Village of given".
