EXTENDED SCHOOL ENRICHMENT<br />
ESE REFUND POLICY<br />
Payments may not be transferred or refunded after the final program day of the respective program month (i.e. payments made<br />
for the month of August <strong>2019</strong>, will not be transferred or refunded after August 31, <strong>2019</strong>.). All refunds are subject to a $10 service<br />
charge for cancellation per participant.<br />
SCHOOL’S OUT REFUND POLICY<br />
Cancellations for a camp week/day must be requested a minimum of two weeks from the start date to receive a full refund, less a<br />
$10 service charge for cancellation per camp week/day per camper.<br />
PARENT/GUARDIAN SIGN-IN & SIGN-OUT<br />
Parents/guardians are free to drop-off and pick-up their child at any point during ESE. Each parent/guardian is responsible for<br />
walking their child into ESE Before-School; students are not to be dropped off at the school site without accompaniment by a parent/<br />
guardian. Students are only released to individuals listed as “authorized pick-ups” who must be at least 16 years of age and must be<br />
listed within the participant’s online account. All ESE staff is required to check identification of authorized individuals. The sign-in/out<br />
table will be clearly displayed and located in an optimal place for parent/guardian accessibility. Late fees will be assessed to any pickups<br />
after 6:00 p.m.; the charge is $1 for every minute late per child (e.g. a child picked up at 6:04 p.m. equals a late fee charge of $4).<br />
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES<br />
ESE staff and students will practice live emergency drills throughout the school year simulating various emergencies to ensure proper<br />
preparation in the case of an actual crisis during the ESE program.<br />
RECREATION PROGRAMS<br />
PROGRAM REFUND POLICY (excludes ESE)<br />
If a class is cancelled by Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, a full<br />
refund or a make-up class will be given. For any other reason,<br />
a Refund Request may be filled out and submitted fourteen<br />
days prior to the program start date. All refunds are subject<br />
to the approval of the Monon Community Center Director<br />
and are subject to State Board of Accounts claim procedures.<br />
If approval is granted, a full refund (less a $10 service charge)<br />
will be given. Refunds are issued by check and may take up to<br />
3-4 weeks to process.<br />

In case of inclement weather, outdoor programs will be<br />
cancelled or moved indoors. Please call the weather hotline to<br />
receive the most up-to-date program cancellations and changes.<br />
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY<br />
Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation routinely takes photos and<br />
videos of participants for promotional purposes. Be aware that<br />
by participating, you are granting the department the right to<br />
use and publish your or your minor child’s image, and that no<br />
monetary remuneration will be given.<br />
Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) makes a good-faith effort to ensure all patrons, and the community at-large, are<br />
knowledgeable of the resources and opportunities available to them, which support full and active participation within CCPR’s<br />
parks, facilities, and programs. CCPR believes every individual has the right to participate in activities and programs that support<br />
their physical, mental, social and emotional wellness, and therefore contribute to enhancing their overall quality of life. Based<br />
on this belief, and CCPR’s vision and mission, we are committed to the provision of services for individuals of all ages, skills, and<br />

CCPR is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act through making reasonable modifications as required<br />
by the ADA. Requests for modifications must be made through one of CCPR’s Inclusion Supervisors within 30 days of the start<br />
of the program of interest. CCPR will provide reasonable modifications as soon as possible after the commencement of the<br />
modification process. Specific criteria will be found on registration documentation. In addition, CCPR is dedicated to nondiscrimination<br />
in the provision of programs, services, and activities to the public. CCPR will continue to incorporate all consumer<br />
feedback, current research, and practice knowledge in order to continue meeting and exceeding customer/community satisfaction<br />
and to protect and promote access for all for generations to come.<br />
