Maeder for an artist talk. This is in conjunction
with Delray Beach’s RISE Art &
Climate Change Weekend. Cheryl will
be sharing about her work in our current
exhibition, Tidal, and her experience
with using her work as a voice for
environmental and worldly concerns.
Through continuous experimentation,
Cheryl utilizes her camera as a precision
instrument to replace the traditional
tools of an artist’s studio, such as brushes
and paint. She focuses her camera on
the other-worldliness between reality
and the abstract. This event takes place
during the October 4th art walk and is

10 Hip Hop Revolution: Back To Basics

Carli’s performance will focus on his
latest CD, Follow Me, a tribute to Nobel
Peace Prize winner and environmental
activist Wangari Maathai, in addition
to original music and jazz standards.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Carli
Muñoz is a jazz pianist whose music of
choice was jazz, European avant-garde
and American pop music. From 1970
through 1981, Muñoz toured with the
Beach Boys, playing Hammond B3 and
piano. He has recorded and performed
with notable jazz artists. Tickets range
