Our students were exceptionally behaved and
represented the school positively. I would like
to commend them all on their responsible and
respectful behaviour. As teachers it was so pleasing
to see them work collaboratively, looking after
each other on the slopes and following the rules
and safety precautions which staff and instructors
implemented.
I would like to acknowledge the wonderful work
from my team Darren Marner and Andrew Crichton
who assisted throughout the lead up and planning
as well as the running of additional lunchtime
lessons and before school fitness sessions which
will enable students to receive 10 SACE credits as
an Integrated Learning subject. I would also like
to acknowledge support staff Ray Prideaux and
Jason Newton who brought an exceptional level
of experience and management which meant our
students felt safe and maximised their time on the
slopes. The ability of our staff to support beginner
students and carefully extend the more advanced
students onto more challenging terrain was
remarkable.
2020 Ski Trip planning is already underway so
please stay tuned for upcoming details in order to
secure a spot. Numbers are limited to a maximum
of 40 students.
