Students in Year 10 follow a core course consisting of: • English • Mathematics • Science • Social Science • Physical Education • Health These subjects, and their teachers remain the same for the whole year. In addition, students choose TWO options and one language: • One language: Māori, Samoan, Tongan, Cook Islands Māori, Mandarin Chinese and • Two subjects from Arts, Technology and Commerce In general, students in Year 10 will continue with the same language that they studied in Year 9. 12 Excellence in Education
