May 16: 6th Annual White Deer Triathlon
3K Paddle (canoe, kayak or SUP) course on beautiful Boulder Lake
across to historic Camp Manito-wish YMCA. Biking from the camp
for 22K along rustic roads around Boulder Junction returning to
the camp. Running the 6K on beautiful roads and trails in the
woods of Boulder Junction ending at the Boulder Junction
Community Center. Triathlon begins at 9am, cook-out & music
from 11am-3pm at the Community Center with awards ceremony

Held throughout the Boulder Junction area. Maps available from

May 23: 34th Annual Boulder Junction Lions Club Pork
Steak and Chicken Dinner
Delicious pork steak and chicken dinner served at the Community

hotspots, try your hand at bird banding, and learn from experts in
the field of ornithology on broad topics.

June 11: Discovery Center Gala Dinner
Kick off the summer season in style at the Discovery Center where
you’ll enjoy socializing during appetizers and cocktails on the
patio by the lake, a beautiful meal under the big tent, a special
presentation to “Fund a Wish” by the Center’s Naturalists,
and an exciting live auction.

June 17: Boulder Junction Wine Walk
Businesses in charming
downtown Boulder Junction
invite you to welcome in the
summer at the Wine Walk on
Wednesday, June 17 from 4pm to
8pm. Stroll from shop to shop,
and a few restaurants too, while
sampling a variety of wine and
appetizers in various businesses
in the shopping district. Tickets
may be purchased in advance on
boulderjct.org or at the Boulder
Junction Chamber. Cost is $30.00
per ticket. Ticket holders must be
21 and over. For those not
wishing to sample wines, but
would like to participate, they
may purchase a designated driver
ticket for $10. Tickets may also be
purchased the day of the event for $35.00 per ticket. Contact:

June 17 – August 5: Music on Main Street
Local musicians perform downtown at Peeple’s Park on
Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9pm. Rain backup location at the

June 21 – September 6: Free Fishing Seminars
Boulder Junction fishing guides offer free fishing seminars
throughout the summer. Varied topics. Held at various locations

June 27: Float Your Boat Trivia Rally
Scavenger hunt on the Manitowish Chain of Lakes to test and
increase your knowledge and awareness of Northwoods ecology
and history. Evening BBQ and award ceremony.

June 27-August 8: Downtown Doings
Come on down to Peeple’s Park this summer on Saturdays from
11am-12pm. Art contests, dance contests, music & games. New
activities each week. There is no charge to participate and no need
to register in advance. Downtown Doings is coordinated by the
Town of Boulder Junction Economic Development/Connect
Communities Committee and sponsored by Century 21 Real
Estate-Jeff Long. All activities are held weather permitting.
