Winnetka Music Festival returns in June

annual Winnetka Music Festival

In just three years, The Winnetka
Music Festival, part of
the Valslist Live Event Series,
has established itself as one of
the country’s premier boutique
festivals on the summer music
circuit. Booking some of the
world’s top emerging artists
(many who have graced the stages
of Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo,
late night TV, and radio/film)
music curator Val Haller brings
a diverse lineup of genres across
two main stages, a family stage,
and an intimate chapel stage.
The Festival boasts an elevated
VIP experience, some of Chicago’s
top food trucks and popular
offerings from local restaurants.

An exclusive earlybird ticket
sale price is being offered
through Jan. 15. Because Winnetka
hosts the fest in its streets
and parks, a 40 percent discount
for general admission tickets is
being offered to residents for
a limited time. (Fest ticket required
for entry. Under 21 free.
Limited quantity. Fest runs 5-11
p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday.

with the American Pianist

The Winnetka Music Festival

which is primarily funded by private
donations and sponsors, in
addition to support from the Village
and Park District.

allow the fest to continue its
philanthropic support of The All
Stars Project, a developmental
performance-based program for
inner city youth. Last year in
addition to making a contribution,
the festival showcased the
youngest All Stars performers,
hip-hop act Brothers on a Mission
on the Fields Family Stage.
And a bonus: The Winnetka
Music Festival is bridging the
fall/winter months with live concerts
in the Winnetka Chapel to
keep the music coming and expand
awareness of the festival.
