walls of Lincoln Castle. Mixing fairy story with local
history and legend, the Christmas Emporium will be
a magical unfolding of newly imagined fairy tales,
illuminating the Castle whilst discovering it anew. From
Havelok the giant Viking hurling the huge stone which
lands within the Castle walls, to Lucy, the 11th century
Countess who ruled the lands, and the Dragonby
legend, where a great dragon was turned to stone by a
malevolent wizard. All are woven together in a festive
fairy tale of visual storytelling to inspire and delight.
Designed to delight visitors of all ages, the light show
will be complimented by Christmas stalls offering
unique arts, crafts, gifts and locally sourced food and
