Two people will enjoy a guided walk and wine tasting <strong>to</strong>ur.<br />

This includes a morning stroll with Fizz on Foot’s qualified<br />

lead walker who is a geologist and his<strong>to</strong>ry enthusiast and<br />

makes the area come alive with s<strong>to</strong>ries of Alfred the Great and<br />

other famous personalities who have graced our South Downs.<br />

Your prize includes a delicious lunch in a traditional Sussex<br />

pub championing local produce – enjoy a glass of locally<br />

produced wine or beer with your meal.<br />

Following lunch you will be taken <strong>to</strong> a Sussex prizewinning<br />

vineyard for a <strong>to</strong>ur and wine tasting. You can hear<br />

the ‘vine <strong>to</strong> wine’ s<strong>to</strong>ry and see the vines in all their glory.<br />

You’ll hear about the incredible efforts the winemakers go<br />

<strong>to</strong> so the vines don’t get caught by frost and are pruned,<br />

trimmed and harvested. You’ll see how sparkling wine is made<br />

and learn about the fascinating production time frame.<br />

Finally, you’ll have the opportunity <strong>to</strong> taste the wine<br />

and enjoy a lively talk by the vineyard’s winemaker.<br />
