1st nuthall brownies have<br />
fun..fundraising!<br />

The local 1st Nuthall Brownies had a great time<br />
fundraising with Sainsbury’s Kimberley for the<br />
local food bank.<br />
38 brownies each bought in £2 to spend on food for<br />
the local food bank.<br />
The brownies had key cards with different suitable<br />
products to help them decide what to buy.<br />
As a store we matched how much the children were<br />
willing to spend, donating a £76 gift card to the food<br />
bank.<br />
In the end the children ended up spending £165 in<br />
store giving the local food bank a very big donation<br />
from the brownies and Sainsbury’s.<br />
Manager Roxanne Murphy said; “We are very excited<br />
about the brownies coming to use our store as a<br />
means of donating to people less fortunate. We love<br />
to get involved with our community and hope we can<br />
aid brownie groups in the future as well.”<br />
As a store we also let the girls enjoy some snacks<br />
and refreshments in our café at the end of their visit.<br />
There is a food bank collection point at the front of<br />
the store to enable customers to give as they shop.<br />
