on the value of the 2017 grant which bought robotics<br />
technology for elementary and middle school students. The<br />
charity poker tournament drew 30 men who competed for<br />
grand prizes including free nights in Delray’s new Marriot<br />
Courtyard, shows at the Arts Garage and Old School Square,<br />
dining at Harvest Grille, Seasons 52, and Morton’s Steak<br />
House, as well as fine wines, and sports memorabilia.<br />

The Palm Beach County Food Bank will hold its 4th Annual<br />
Empty Bowls Delray Beach event on Sunday, <strong>December</strong> 8th<br />
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Old School Square. The unique event<br />
invites the public to “eat simply, so others can simply eat.” Guests<br />
share in a simple meal of water, bread provided by Old School<br />
Bakery and soup from the area’s best restaurants, all served by<br />
local celebrities. Each receives a unique bowl to take home as<br />
a powerful reminder of all the empty bowls in the community.<br />
