Since 1928, when our founder developed a solution for one of the world’s first ice cream and refrigeration

Guarantees. We use modern, automated continuous and discontinuous production lines to manufacture
composite panels, which meet LPCB approval under an approved BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality
Management System.
We make products that are not only of requisite quality, but which exceed CE standards. We do this by
testing them more thoroughly than even the most rigorous accreditation requires.

Hemsec Product and Public Liability Insurance extends to the following:

The insurance covers costs and damages arising from:
1. Injury to third party persons
2. Loss of or damage to third party property, directly attributable to the supply/sale or use of products.

Partnerships
What the Hemsec Diamond guarantees cover
In the unlikely event of any product defect, you are
covered by our industry-leading guarantee for up
to 40 years on Hemsec Steel-faced panels, backed
up by our steel provider’s warranty, and up to 60
years on Hemsec SIPs supported by the rigorous
testing of both the BBA and the ETA certification.
We guarantee that the product will perform
effectively throughout this period if the product is
used, stored, installed and maintained in
accordance with our guidelines, or an associated
manufacturers’ instructions, as well as to good
construction industry standards. If the panel fails
to perform its primary function, then we will
provide a full replacement of any affected panel
of ours.
Our assurances over the thermal performance of
the product are backed up by regular and
consistent aged lambda testing. The solid state,
closed cell technology maintains the integrity of
the insulating gases supporting a 60 year thermal
guarantee, and with the steel faced panels being
diffusion tight it further ensures the prevention of
any degradation in the cell structure.

What is not covered, as you would expect
Failure or damage caused by: fair wear and tear; accidents; poor workmanship; failing to follow the
appropriate requirements for the safe storage, installation, maintenance and use of the panels in
accordance with our own or the manufacturers’ instructions, inaccuracies in the engineering or
structural calculations, failure of third party components causing subsequent damage or failure to
the panels; or where we follow any drawing, design or specification provided by you. This includes
damage resulting from modifications or alterations to the product, or attachments (fixings) or
extensions made to them, incorrect cleaning regimes or repair or incorrect maintenance to the
installation. We always advise that you consult with us before purchasing and installing our
products, to ensure you select the right products. We also advise to consult other component
manufacturers to ensure compatibility with Hemsec panels. If you fail to take this advice, the
guarantee may be at risk.
