What is one essential you
must have when studying?
When I study one thing I
must have is a snack. I do

my homework as soon as I
get home from school, and
I’m always hungry after
school.
What do you like to do
when not in school or
studying?
When I am not in school
or studying I like to draw,
play outside and do gymnastics.
What is your dream job?
My dream job would be
to be a veterinarian for just
dogs.
What is one thing people
don’t know about you?
One thing most people
don’t know about me
is that I have two older
brothers who are in college
and one older brother
that is in high school. They
all graduated from Noonan
Academy.
Whom do you look up to
and why?
Someone I look up to
is Jesus because He lived
without sinning.
What do you keep under
your bed?
I keep some of my
stuffed animals and a box
of my school work under
my bed.
Who is your favorite
teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is
Mrs. Hurt because she lets
us earn paper “froggy”
dollars to spend on prizes,
she does a weekly Boggle
game and she is very fun.
What’s your favorite class
and why?
My favorite classes are
art and reading.
What’s one thing that
stands out about your
school?
One thing that stands out
about Noonan Academy is
that the teachers are fun
and make learning fun.
What extracurricular(s) do
you wish your school had?
In second grade we can
play volleyball or basketball
after school. If I could,
I would like to do gymnastics
after school.
What’s your morning
routine?
My morning routine includes
eating breakfast,
getting ready, making my
bed and getting in the car
with my mom, who drives
me to school.
If you could change one
thing about school what
would it be?
If I could change one
thing about Noonan Academy,
it would be to allow
candy and other sweets.
What’s your favorite thing
to eat in the cafeteria?
We don’t have a cafeteria,
but we do get pizza the first
Thursday of each month.
What’s your best memory
from school?
My best memory from
school was meeting my
friend, Sonia, in PreK.

John Harper, principal
of Providence Catholic
High School, is pleased
to announce the school’s
Students of the Month for
November.
“We are very proud of
these students who were
recognized for achievements
and/or improvement
in school courses as well
as other school-related activities,”
Harper said.
Every month, each academic
department chairperson
selects one student
as its Student of the Month
from a number of students
nominated by faculty
and staff. Students of the
Month receive a certificate
of recognition, have
their photos displayed in
Providence Catholic High
School’s main hallway for
the following month and
are invited to a special luncheon.

Summit Hill students gear up for science expo

Junior High
The students in the
Summit Hill Junior High
School program have
been working on their
science fair projects since
the beginning of September
and meeting deadlines
every Friday. Some
of the students developed
new projects around their
interests, and others are
extending their past experiments
to challenge
themselves with additional
findings.
Summit Hill Junior
High would like to invite
family, friends and everyone
from the community
to celebrate the seventhand
eighth-grade science
fair projects’ results and
conclusions. It is a great
opportunity to ask the
students questions, engage
them and commemorate
their success. The
students look forward to
sharing the fun of science
with everyone.
The schoolwide Science
Expo is scheduled
for 1:15-2 p.m. Friday,
Dec. 13, in the Summit
Hill Junior High cafetorium.
