Dana
“At a [LeaderImpact] retreat, I was challenged to look at
my calendar and to ask, ‘Where is God in all of this?’” Dana
commented. “God convicted me that I needed to be intentional
about living for Him at work.” With a work environment that
seemed quite hostile to Christianity, Dana felt nervous about
how to show her faith to those around her.
She started by having lunch with a coworker. As a result, they
became friends and she had the opportunity to share the gospel
with her.
Next, she approached her boss for permission to host a Bible
study at work. To Dana’s surprise, her boss said yes, as long
as she invited everyone in the office. Now she has a mix of
Christians and interested people exploring the Bible together.
“People look forward to coming, are encouraged, learn heaps,
and I have had one person—who is a new believer—say that this
has strengthened her faith,” Dana said.
Another colleague recently joined the Bible study group and just
a few weeks later Dana had the joy of leading her to Christ. Dana
is reaching her workplace for Christ.
