His RoyalHighness met many of the outstandingartisans who have been awarded theTrade Mark Surrey Hills - an accreditationand Mark of local provenance, quality andsustainability.The Royal Visit included a Surrey Hillslunch with local beef from CoverwoodFarm, pork from Hill House Farm, breadfrom Chalk Hills bakery and ethicallysourced coffee roasted in the Surrey Hillsby Chimney Fire Coffee. Wine from AlburyOrganic Vineyard was served followedby a tour of the Vineyard before beingpresented with a hamper full of delicioustreats celebrating the variety and qualityof local, sustainable produce.The Royal Visit was a wonderfulrecognition of the growing reputationand development of the Surrey Hills forinnovative, high quality, sustainable, localproducts and services.Surrey Hills offers exciting local hubswhere you can meet local artisans, suchas the Silent Pool Hub hosting Mandira’sKitchen, Norbury Blue Cheese Company,Silent Pool Gin Distillery and AlburyOrganic Vineyard, making this a specialplace to visit and tie in with a walk acrossthe Surrey Hills with spectacular views.Explore the Surrey Hills and visit some ofthe Surrey Hills Artisans, purchase localproduce and enjoy great workshops,tastings and events.
