Fr e LED light bulb service is available to Gold Energy members (ie. taking Home Phone and Broadband, Gas and/or Electricity) and Double Gold members (ie. taking Home Phone,<br />
Broadband, Mobile, Gas and/or Electricity) who are either (i) an owner-o cupier; or ( i) a tenant aged over 30 where we have insta led a smart meter in their property. A l the light bulbs in<br />
the member’s home wi l be changed provided we have an LED equivalent, and the existing bulbs are safely and easily a ce sible. The typical value of £3 0-£5 0 is based on 39 LED<br />
bulbs at an average retail price of £8 plus a £1 0 charge for fi ting. A light bulbs su plied and fi ted by us are covered by a 36 month wa ranty. In a dition, if a member notifies us at any<br />
time thereafter that a light bulb we have fi ted is defective or has reached the end of its usefu life, we wi l pos them a replacement light bulb fr e of charge provided that (i) we have b en<br />
su plying a l their communication services continuously betw en the date the LED light bulbs were originaly instaled and the date we are notified that a replacement LED light bulb is<br />
required; ( i) their electricity service is being provided by us on the date the replacement is requested; ( i) there are no monies outstanding on the member’s a count with us; and (iv) we<br />
have not received a termination notice from the member on any of the services we are su plying to them a tha time. 15% quoted saving based on a typical household using 3,1 0 kWh of<br />
electricity, where 39 traditiona light bulbs are changed to LEDs, with an average reduction of 45W per light bulb (eg. from 50W to 5W) and where each LED light bulb is used for an average<br />
of 45 minutes per day. If we fit new LED light bulbs in a member’s home and they cease to take any landline, broadband or mobile service from us within the fo lowing two years (which they<br />
were taking at any time after they requested our fr e light bulb replacement service), they wi l n ed to pay a contribution towards the cost of the LED bulbs we provided; the size of this<br />
contribution varies betw en £2 - £8 per bulb, depending on how long their bulbs have b en instaled. This offer can be withdrawn at any time. For fu l terms and conditions refer to the Utility<br />
Warehouse website.<br />
There are six workshops at Wanstead Library, held on Thursdays between<br />
6.30pm and 7.30pm on <strong>January</strong> 16, <strong>February</strong> 6 and 20, March 12, April 2 and 16.<br />
