Christmas Bonanza!

Page-11

Our annual Christmas Bonanza was held on 5th December and was full of Christmas jumpers and festive

fun. There were also some more unusual instruments, including Kazoos. Michael Bridge (year 11) explains:

“The Christmas Bonanza this year was brilliant! The amount of effort put in by all of the clubs made this

concert the best one so far. The choir started it with a fantastic arrangement of Mary Poppins. This was

followed by a wide variety of groups including Stomp! and guitars. The second half was just as good with

creative arrangements for the Wind Band and a relaxing concerto by the string ensemble. My favourite

group that played was percussion – “All I want for Christmas” was spectacular. Watching the teachers dress

up for the 12 days was also a real treat.”

Carol Service

We are looking forward to finishing the term on a

high with the candlelit carol service. The boys have

been practISING hard and it looks to be a special,

festive occasion. We look forward to seeing you.

“Thank you so much to The John Fisher School

for being part of our carol Singing Day at the St

Nicholas Centre.

We hugely appreciate your support and hope all

the children enjoyed it!

I am thrilled to say that with the help of your

gorgeous singing we raised a fantastic £806.05!!

It costs £75 to provide one hour of expert nursing

care of our In-Patient Unit. Our team are there to

help patients with pain management, symptom

control and tailored palliative care if they choose

to spend their last days on our ward. Your support

means we could provide over 10 hours of care for

someone who needs us.”
