SPOTS ON THE ISLAND?<br />
The Oberoi was one of the<br />
first luxury hotels built in the<br />
Legian area, and it is still one<br />
of the most beautiful hotels in<br />
Bali. When I get some time to<br />
explore the island, I head to<br />
Karangasem or the east side<br />
of Bali.<br />

TO ITS MISSION? It was a<br />
day on Kuta Beach about<br />
five years ago. I was there to<br />
surf with my children, and we<br />
ended up spending the day<br />
cleaning out the trash in the<br />
water. It was so devastating<br />
that even the tractors brought<br />
in to help clean up couldn’t<br />
get it all. That was it for me.<br />
No turning back.<br />
