Indonesia<br />
There are number of initiatives in<br />
progress in Indonesia in order to get<br />
it's young people 'future ready'.<br />
Indonesia suffers from high (15%)<br />
youth unemployment, and much of<br />
the local discussion to solve this<br />
problem has been centred around the<br />
poor quality of local graduates,<br />
especially in relation to rising to<br />
challenge and opportunity of the '4th<br />
Industrial Revolution'. In an attempt to<br />
solve the issue, a number of foreign<br />
universities are being encouraged to<br />
create international campuses within<br />
the country through Government<br />
incentive schemes.<br />
Iceland<br />
Iceland recently launched a<br />
programme to actively encourage<br />
refugees and asylum seekers from<br />
around the world to apply for a<br />
University education in the country.<br />
'Student Refugees Iceland' is partfunded<br />
by the European Student<br />
Union and the country is looking to<br />
expand the scheme to also award<br />
places at upper secondary level •<br />
