Tips For Wr I started writing lyrics about a year ago. I tried to give it my best shot and started out with the most basic build up of all songs. Verse 1, chorus, verse 2, chorus, verse 3, end. Using 5 or 6 words in each sentence. That’s great for starting out. However somewhere along the way I found myself stuck with a lot of songs and I couldn’t finish them in the basic build up. Sounds familiar? Then it’s time to look at what you have so far. My main problem often was that I had problems finding the 3th verse. Tip 1. mix it up and use the chorus to begin your lyric. With this you can give your song a lot of energy right from the beginning. And you’ve solved a problem. After this you will put the 1st verse, chorus, 2nd verse, chorus, end. For example: Senorita, Shawn Mendes Tip 2. Use two sentences of a verse which is already used earlier in the song. Start from there. See what you can come up with. You might gain a couple words :-) Tip 3. Still unsolved?
