From the backyard to the backcountry,
Girl Scouts has a long, storied, and
successful history of getting girls
outdoors. In fact, many Girl Scouts
tell us “camping trips” are one of
the best things about their Girl Scout
experience. It’s true: connecting with
nature in a girl-led setting is a big
benefit of belonging to Girl Scouts.
Studies show that girls today are not
spending nearly enough time outdoors.
Technology and structured activities
leave less time for girls to get outside
and enjoy nature. But as a Girl Scout,
she’ll have plenty of opportunities to
create her own outdoor adventures
and develop a lifelong appreciation for
nature and the out-of-doors—whether
with her troop, at camp, or with friends
and family.
And that’s great news—because when
Girl Scouts get outside, they:
● Discover that they can better solve
problems and overcome challenges
Girls who will be enrolled in 1st-12th grade as of Fall 2020 may register for camp. We have
moved to a new registration system CampDoc! We have now made it a one-stop shop for
registration and medical information! When completing your campers registration you will
need to select the grade they will be in going into in order to see the camps available for
that grade level. All members must enter the code “MEMBER” to get member pricing before
completing your non-refundable deposit.
Updated process for registering:
● Follow link in the summer camp description on the event calendar
● Login using your existing CampDoc account or create a new one
● Create a new participant or select existing camper
● Select “Registration”
● Select “Register for a new session”
● Select grade as of Fall 2020
● Select camp session
● Select add-ons
● Enter coupon code (don’t forget to use “member” to get GS member pricing)
● Follow the prompts and complete payment

SUMMER CAMP CONFIRMATION PACKETS
Confirmation packets and any additional forms that are not in CampDoc will be emailed to
you 2 months before your arrival at camp. The confirmation packet and any additional forms
will also be available on our website in the Forms section under Camp.
Please read through the packet with your camper, review and complete any additonal
forms and email to summercamp@citrus-gs.org no later than 2 weeks before your camp
session start date.
