Camp Basics
All Things Financial
Day Camps D B J
Designed for girls who would prefer a camp experience
that is not overnight. These camps are usually 5 days
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Before and After Care is
available for an additional cost.
Sampler Camps D B
Designed for girls and parents who prefer to “sample”
the overnight camp experience, these camps consist
of 3 days and 2 nights. Space is limited to ensure girls
have a more personal experience with counselors and
sister campers.
Resident Camps B J C S A
(Traditional, Adventure, and Travel)
Ages vary per session. Designed for girls who prefer
an overnight camp experience, these camps consist
of 6 days and 5 nights and may include field trips,
adventures such as surfing or traveling!
Camp Open House
Enjoy one of our Summer Camp Open Houses with the
entire family! Visit camp and get to know the staff: come
on down to one of our 3 open houses. Take a tour of our
sleeping and activity areas. Learn about the different
activities that girls will explore this summer. Sit down
with our staff, over a plate of cookies and cup of “bug
juice” – our campers’ favorite treat – and get answers to
your questions, bring up any concerns, and get excited
for summer fun. Girls who attend will be given a special
prize at the end of the tour!
Celia Lane: Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 5-7 p.m.
Mah-Kah-Wee: Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2-4 p.m.
Riverpoint: Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 2-4 p.m.

Early Bird Discount
Register and pay in full by April 13, 2020 and receive a $40 discount for
each resident camp and/or $20 discount for each day camp or sampler
camp. If your camp is not paid in full by deadline your camp fee will
increase to the after April 14 price.
Program Aides (PA) and
Counselors-in-Training (CIT)
Program Aides and Counselors-in-Training who wish to help at day camp
or resident camp in a leadership role may do so for a maximum of two
(2) weeks. Program Aides will receive a $75 discount for each day camp.
Counselors-in-Training will receive a $150 discount for each resident camp
session. Discounts may not be combined with camperships or any
other discounts.
Summer Camp Deposits
A $30 non-refundable deposit is made at the time of registration for
each camp. Payments can be made in full at the time of registration or a
payment plan can be set up through your CampDoc account. If you have

Camperships
Thanks to our generous supporters, members of Girl Scouts of Citrus
who express a financial need are eligible to receive partial assistance
with their camp fee for a maximum of one camp session. Girls must
first register online for their camp session and pay the $30 deposit
(which is refundable in the case of non-approval or if you are unable to
pay the balance due), then complete the online Campership application
by April 27, 2020. If approved, a confirmation will be sent stating the
amount granted. The balance is due according to the deadlines of the
camp session. Camperships cannot be combined with any other
discounts including Early Bird. Acceptance letters must be signed and
returned to receive assistance.
Refunds/Cancellations
Cancellations for any Summer Camp must be submitted in writing via
email to customercare@citrus-gs.org no later than the Registration
Deadline for that specific camp. Any fees paid to date (beyond the $30
non-refundable deposit) will be refunded. Any cancellations after the
registration deadline will not be refunded unless it is for extenuating
medical or family circumstances. These requests will also need to
be submitted in writing via email to customercare@citrus-gs.org for
consideration and approval. Cancellation fees will apply.
