The Oscar Lasko
YMCA and Childcare
Center gymnastics
program, right in
downtown West
Chester, develops
more than skills — it
develops character.
The Y offers recreational, adapted and progressive
gymnastics classes for children of all ages. Kids learn and
develop balance, flexibility, strength and tumbling skills on
age-appropriate equipment in a fun, open environment.
“We’ve had a great experience
with the gymnastics program at
the Y. Our oldest daughter has
been in the program for eight
years, and our youngest for has
been involved for six years. In
addition to gymnastics, the
coaches focus on the full growth
and development of the athletes.
They have helped our daughters’
build confidence, pushed them to
do their best and instilled in them
the importance of being part of
a team.”
- Jim and Laura Loeper, Parents
By invitation only, this competitive gymnastics team follows
the standards of USA Gymnastics to develop flexibility,
strength, grace, discipline, coordination, goal-orientation,
confidence, creativity, leadership and positive self-esteem.
