of Productivity
Do you dream of an upbeat workspace that is far
from the corporate world yet has some of the key
elements that account for its Fortune 500 status?
Terry Marks, President of Seed Delray
Well, look no more. You can plant your success as you would
a seed, so to speak. This new co-work environment is
appropriately called Seed and is located at the West end
of the new shopping plaza anchored by Whole Foods Market on
Linton Boulevard.
The concept of a co-working space is a relatively new one, yet the
need for it has been brewing for some time. “Seed Delray is filling
a huge void for single entrepreneurs (or solopreneurs) through a
premium balanced workplace. It fosters an excellent combination
of collaboration with extended networking, innovation and a
balanced physical layout,” said Terry Marks.
Marks was the brainchild behind this 6,000-square-foot
workspace divided into different work areas to meet the needs of
varying business models.
But the underlying genius is the energetic flow that carries on
throughout the second-floor space. There are large circular windows
that cast a bright natural light, ergonomic modern furnishings and
rental flexibility to meet any size business or freelancer.
If you want to rent a desk for a few hours, you’re in luck. They
have what is known as a “Hotdesk” for daily, weekly or monthly
use. You get all the amenities that are commonplace in corporate
offices without the staid work environment. You get collaborative
capabilities, fast Wi-Fi, printer-scanner, spacious kitchen,
conference room use, mailboxes and on-site parking.
If you would like a more permanent workspace, you can opt for
one of their “Dedicated Desks.” The desks are dispersed among
assorted office configurations within a harmonious artful design
that fosters a sense of community and productivity.
“We are leading the way for the quintessential upbeat office
lifestyle for the solo entrepreneur. Our office design, the color
schemes, natural light and modular furniture capabilities are the
perfect backdrop for working and networking,” added Marks.
He has a point. Studies do show that when you feel good you do
good. And when you are ensconced in an upbeat environment you
are more productive, especially when your work is mixed with a bit
of socializing and networking.
