This dining area in a house in
Tenterden (below) is a perfect example
of how contemporary interior design
is increasingly about using what you’ve
got rather than needlessly buying new
at a cost to the environment. The
tabletop was made from a reclaimed
stable door, the zinc butler’s tray table
was sourced from Ardingly antiques
fair and a panel of old lathes was
retained as a reminder of construction
techniques employed when the building
was erected in the eighteenth century.

Gorgeous drinks cabinets, colourful
glasswear, and chic Art Deco inspired

MIX IT UP
