The Friends of the Poquoson Public Library is a

non-profit organization that provides advocacy

and financial support for the library. The Friends

raised $13,000 for library programs and equipment

in Fiscal Year 2019. Join the Library Friends today.

Spring Book Sale April 23-26

The sale is held in the library lobby with all

proceeds benefiting the Poquoson Public Library.

Donations to our book sales are accepted yearround

during normal library business hours.

Elizabeth Tai Scholarship

Thirty $1000 scholarships have been awarded to

deserving students since 2003 in honor of retired

Library Director, Elizabeth Tai. The scholarship is

open to graduating high school seniors who have

volunteered at the Poquoson Public Library.

Applications will be available at the library

circulation desk and at the PHS Guidance Office in

early February.

Essay Contest

Tech Help

Tuesdays and Thursday

1:30 - 2:30pm

Walk-in technology help is available for your internet,

computer and tablet usage questions. We can also

help you get started with our digital resources.

Among Friends

Open to all K-12th grade students. Entry forms

will be available in January 2020 at the Library and

in Poquoson Public Schools. Cash prizes will be

given at the Awards Ceremony, April 23, 2020.
