Minutes
1-21-20
The January General meeting was called to order by
Mike Lebda at 6:30 PM. Mike opened the meeting
by having the minutes read.
Secretary – Kathy Marine – Minutes from the
December General Meeting were read. Skip made a
motion to accept the minutes as read; Fred
seconded the motion.
Treasurer’s Report - Lynn Henenfent gave the
Treasurer’s report. She confirmed that the club’s
State and Federal Tax status paperwork has been
filed/completed. Lynn also stated $270.00 was
collect in raffle ticket sales. Freida can’t help but out
do herself each and every time selling raffle tickets.

VP of Public Relations/Membership – Leighanne
Severance announced 8 birthdays and 4 wedding
anniversaries for January. Birthdays were loudly sung
to and applauded whether celebrants were present
or not. Competition between anniversary couples
was short lived compared to any of their years
married. By luck of a quick draw, Charlie and Kim
Fosnaugh had an extra reason to celebrate being the
winners of the $25.00 Yosemite Falls Café gift card.
Leighanne stated the club grew a bit larger. Wayne
and Araceli DeCamp, and, Randy and Cori Ray were
unanimously voted in as new members.

VP of Activities – Jeff Engleman informed the
members of upcoming runs and activities. Each run
leader gave a brief synopsis of either their future
planned run or described the highlights and
memorable moments of their recently held run.

newsletter for planned runs or contact run leaders
with any questions regarding their run.
Parliamentarian: Mike asked Dick Danielsen for his
input or comments. Dick had no comments at this
time.
Old Business: Mike queried the room for old
business.
Freida and Lorraine volunteered to organize the
Kroekerville Picnic, scheduled for May 2, 2020.
Freida and Linda volunteered again to organize the
CVC Holiday Party scheduled for December
More details on both the picnic and holiday party
will be provided.
New Business: Mike queried the room for new
business.
Mike informed members that Charlie is researching
a program that will streamline some of the Club’s
processes and “bring the Club into the future” (as
Charlotte described). The program should make
newsletter publication easier; provide a portal for
members to update their membership, pay for
runs, events, dues, pay by credit card; track money
flow; post meeting minutes, and the like, at an
approximate cost of $50.00/month. Mike
suggested social media may be another means in
generating Club interest or updating members of
happenings and events.
