KINGSTON FRONTENACS GAMEDAY REPORT
FRASCA FAMILY REUNION AT LEON’S CENTRE
BROTHERS JORDAN AND JACOB FRASCA GO HEAD-TO-HEAD ON FAMILY DAY
Things may be a little more tense around the dinner
table at the Frasca house this Family Day.
For the second time the Frasca brothers will face off
against one another in OHL action. Jacob and Jordan
Frasca have met once before but this will be the
first time they meet in Kingston.
Jacob Frasca is in his first OHL season. He was
drafted by the Colts in the 3rd round of the 2019
Priority Selection. He is enjoying a respectable
rookie season scoring 6 goals and 7 assists in 39
games. He missed the entire month of December
with mononucleosis, but he is now healthy and playing
well recording 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 6
games.
Jordan Frasca joined the Frontenacs via trade
with the Windsor Spitfires in August of 2019. He
has had an excellent first year in Kingston scoring
13 goals and 23 assists in 43 games. His 36 points
place him third in team scoring behind only Shane
Wright and Zayde Wisdom.
The first time the brothers went head-to-head was
on October 12th, 2019. Jordan had a goal and an
assist in the game, but it was Jacob’s Colts taking
a 6-4 victory. Since then, the two teams have met
twice but one of the brothers missed each of those
games. When Jordan was in the lineup the Frontenacs
earned a 6-3 win and when Jacob was the one
suiting up it was the Colts winning 5-3. Tonight, Jordan
and the Frontenacs will look to split the season
series with a home ice win.
The Frasca’s will be cheering for both sides in
today’s game but things could become more complicated
in a couple of years. Their younger brother,
Gabriel Frasca, is currently playing with the Mississauaga
Senators and will be eligible for the OHL Priority
Selection in 2022. KF
