INSPIRE ME
Inspired in 2012 from the loss of
valued friends due to gang affiliation
and crime, Stephen Addison launched
the project ‘Box Up Crime’ in 2013, a
new initiative which provides social
change though social innovation. We
use sports, in particular boxing, as a
tool to inspire, educate and develop
young individuals, specifically those
who have been involved in crime.
This will be used as a foundation
to continually create awareness
and confidence building with
communities. We strive to develop
strong relationships with secondary
schools within the borough,
promising to provide assistance to
improve student’s behaviour.

Kevin Stephens (better known as Stevo The MadMan) used to
work in a van picking up cars, but is now a presenter for brands
such as JD Sports.
Through Snapchat, he vlogs his day-to-day life to millions of
people across the world.

SHOOBS
Louise Broni-Mensah
is the founder and
CEO of Shoobs.com,
the online booking and
discovery platform for
Urban events. As the
founder of Shoobs,
Louise is the first black
female founder to be
financially backed by Y
Combinator, the worldrenowned
accelerator
programme based in
Silicon Valley. Louise
has won a number of
awards to date, such
as the Shell Live Wire
award and recognised
as one of Britain’s most
influential Black people
in Business as noted by
the PowerList. Louise
holds a Mathematical
Economics BSc degree
from The University of
Birmingham.
