Safford House Museum was once the home of Anson P. K. Safford.
Safford’s time was in a more peaceful and less demanding era and
is depicted throughout the home and shown in its décor and architecture.
The home is located in the historic district of the city and was
restored in 1994.

The Caladesi Island State Park offers a wealth of outdoor activities.

Winter Zone at Clearwater Marine Aquarium has daily dolphin shows
and Turtle Cove is designed for permanent turtles as well as those
in rehab. Visitors can also participate in the Adopt a Turtle Program.
The underwater viewing tunnel gives the illusion of being inside a
shipwreck while viewing the marine life as it passes by the windows.
This tunnel allows you and your children an up close and personal
view into the daily life of these animals.
The Dali Museum

Surrealist artist Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dali I Dommenech considers
the Dali Museum the world’s largest collection of works. Among his
works on display are Self Portrait, Cadaques, and Portrait of my Sister,
Girl’s Back and Oeufs sur Le Plat sans Le Plat. Museum hours are
Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m.
to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sundays
from noon until 5:30 p.m.
The Pier Aquarium

The Fresh Fish Theater at the Pier Aquarium begins with three cylinder
tanks in its lobby. These tanks feature several different species
of marine animals. On the second floor are 14 tanks in which
to learn first hand how these ocean inhabitants live. Within this area
are recordings from the sea and educational videos depicting each
of the beautiful and fascinating marine animals. Aquarium hours are
10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon until 6 p.m. on
Sundays.
Sunken Gardens
