A design we created to provide an ideal frameless fixing solution for decking platforms
to enable a secure strong fix to the side of the deck platform.
This product was created with decking systems in mind. We needed a solution that would
work with our innovative decking solutions where a side fix was essential. This adaptation of a
top mount solution, which sits on the deck edge like a Base Mount Mini Post, but has the
advantage to have its fixing points located on the edge of the component.
This very strong design accepts glass thickness from 12mm to 17.5mm Laminated Glass, with
interchangeable gaskets to allow for changes in glass thickness.
This design is tested to surpass the requirements for UDL loadings meeting domestic
requirements of line loads of 0.74kN. Ideal for use on decking projects. The strength comes
from the use of 2205 Duplex stainless steel. This makes the component very strong and highly
resistant to corrosion even in extreme marine environments.
The Tilt-Lock design is an ingenious way making the install of the system as simple as
possible. With a simple twist of an allen key on the body of the post, the glass self-levels and
this easy adjustment saves a lot of time and hassle during installations.
