A versatile design and the most popular and cost effective solution for frameless glazed
balustrade applications. Top mounted for easy install on most platforms and balconies.
The most popular and versatile member of the Mini Post Family. The top mount fixing method
allows installations into various fabric of platforms. The 18 Series models accept
glass thickness from 12mm to 17.5mm Laminated Glass, with interchangeable gaskets to
allow for changes in glass thickness. Models for glass thicknesses between 19mm to 21.5mm
are available on request, just request our 21 Series Mini Post. Choose between Square base
or Oval base designs.
This design is tested to surpass the requirements for UDL loadings meeting domestic
requirements of line loads of 0.74kN. Ideal for use on domestic projects and areas of low
pedestrian traffic. The high strength comes from the use of 2205 Duplex stainless steel. This
makes the component very strong and highly resistant to corrosion even in extreme marine
environments.
The Tilt-Lock design is an ingenious way making the install of the system as simple as
possible. With a simple twist of an allen key on the body of the post, the glass self-levels and
this easy adjustment saves a lot of time and hassle during installations.
