We picked the five
finalists for
Greenwood
Chevrolet’s Cruze
or Cash Giveaway.
Greg Greenwood
once again
provided this
campaign
incentive where
any donor who
gave $260 or more
qualified to win a
brand new Cruze
or $15,000 cash.
Long time donor
Cathy Grizinski of
Help Network of
Northeast Ohio
won and proudly
chose the
Lordstown built
Cruze.
On February 11th we
officially celebrated
our 100th
Anniversary with a
special luncheon.
We invited our
Centennial
Celebration partners
as well as our Board
Members to
honor this
milestone. It was
the official kickoff of
our year long
celebration.
Joined by our 2018
Campaign Chair,
William Shivers of
Huntington Bank, we
proudly announced
we raised more than
$3 million for the
third year in a row!
Greenwood
Chevrolet
sponsored the
first quarter of
our Centennial
Celebration.
They launched
their monthly
Charity
Giveaway, giving
$500 and $200
to a United Way
Partner Agency
each month
through an
online contest.
Coaches Burger
Bar presented us
with a check for
$2,206 , which
they raised
during the Dine
in December
promotion. They
held the same
promotion this
December and
raised $4,000 in
2019!
Chemical Bank
sponsored our
Annual Meeting
held at the Lake
Club. We honored
our top companies
as well as our key
volunteers who
made a difference
in 2018. We were
joined by Mary
Sellers, the U.S.
President of
United Way.
Ed Muransky and
his family
purchased the very
last Cruze to roll
off the line at the
G.M. Lordstown
plant. He donated
it to our United
Way to auction it
off to the highest
bidder. The last
Cruze raised
$37,500 and
remains here in
the Valley.
We hosted our
Centennial
Champions
Among Us—A
Black Tie Affair.
It was an
unforgettable night
with a sold out
crowd of 450 loyal
donors and
volunteers dressed
in their best. They
danced the night
away to 76
Degrees West
Band from
Washington D.C.
We want to thank
our Gala Chair
Chris Sammartino
and our Gala
committee who
donated countless
hours to pull the
amazing event
together.
The 20th Annual
Muransky
Companies Bass
Classic hosted
by Aqua Ohio
welcomed 50
pro-am teams.
A special thank

Pine Lake.
The 5th Annual
Locker 1 & 2 Golf
Outing broke a
record by raising
more than
$45,000. The
outing took
place at The
Lake Club.
