It was said that one of the company’s two Ford V8 4x4 former gun tractors assisted with the recovery. The photo is the right way up, it’s jut the bus that isn’t! Bus 188 (KG 7038) was a 1936 Roe bodied Leyland TS7 allocated to Aberdare. De-licensed in Sept. 1952 it was sold as scrap to James Thompson, Cardiff in Dec. 1952. 12
