“To be renewed in the spirit of the mind.”When approaching the theme of selfisolation, I couldn’t help but associate itwith the process of personal growth thatoccurs through self reflection, and howsolitude can be a necessary stage in thatprocess.The title of this photo is an excerpt fromthe Bible, which I have been meditating onduring the current global crisis. My faithand spirituality play a huge part in theperspectives I apply in my art and ineveryday life, especially in times ofuncertainty.Although the world is going through anunsettling period, I believe that this is theperfect moment to transform our physicalstillness into an opportunity to renew ourspirits and strengthen our minds in a waythat works for us.
